The transition back to an independent consulting role means that I can now focus on delivering and building guided analytics applications for TIBCO Spotfire Energy customers.
TIBCO Spotfire is a great analytics platform and as a TIBCO Spotfire Partner the plan is to continue to help customers in the Energy sector deliver extreme value from their investment in Spotfire.
As you know my main area of functional expertise in the Energy industry is around asset integrity, maintenance, equipment availability and reliability related to production. Expect to see more interesting Spotfire use cases in these areas based on sensor and historian data.
This improved focus I believe will accelerate the delivery of value from the existing software license investment and move the needle from standard business intelligence and dashboards to advanced predictive and event driven analytics.
